Dont Have Windows 7 ! Cant Use Disks (The Bank, The Wub ect.

Dont have windows 7 so i cant use the disks that came with renaissance.(the bank the wub the noise the 809) not compatible with vista. any suggestions ???

Really though, it's worth the upgrade fee. When they coded 7 they realized that the main problem with Vista was that it tried to pre-buffer a ton of RAM at startup with the idea that it would dynamically allocate it to apps and services as needed. In practice Vista could never do this quickly enough. With 7 they went back to the XP way of allocating and loading with your RAM and it makes a huge difference. Like having 40-60% tied up idle after a bootup in Vista would only be 10% RAM already loaded in the same scenario on Windows 7. Audio apps especially didn't like the Vista RAM allocation methods.

I realize this doesn't help your issue at all, just encouraging you to update if you can. I know of no way to make a incompatible Win 7 installer backwards compatible with Vista.

For me 7 is the best update since windows 2000...and man that was a beast!!

Windows 7 Pro is less than $80 OEM 32/64bit. C'mon bruh! upgrade your PC.

Win 7 is dope, going to skip 8 and see if 9 improves upon 7.

I'm more prone to check out 8 now that I've confirmed that 32bit apps will still run on it. The guys at Cakewalk have said it is already outperforming 7 in their tests.

I've been testing 8 and it is nice... Yet a bit confusing due to it's new navegability...

7 outperforms OS X on my Mac Pro daily.

What's the problem with the disks? There has to be some way to extract the data. This is the first I've heard of a CD not being Win7 compatible, hit me on PM if you need.

They're trying to run a Windows 7 installer on Vista and XP. Yeah, other way around they would just use compatibility mode.
