Problem with synchronizing MPC 500 with Fruity Loops 9

Hello,
I have a problem with synchronizing my MPC 500 with Fruity Loops.
I want to use it as a MIDI controller with FPC plug-in.

I set everything up just like in this step by step instruction: http://www.akaipro.com/syncfruity

I have this kind of a cable:


Fruity loops found it as USB2.0-MIDI (I clicked Send master sync).
Light on the cable is on.

In MPCs MIDI/SYNC options I have following settings: Receive channel "ALL", Soft Thru "ON" (I've tried every option), Pad to sampler "ON", Sync "Slave".

I've assigned C1 note to FPC first pad, loaded a sample into it, and it doesn't work .
Theoreticly it should work but it doesn't.

I don't see any activity from my MPC in FL.
I tried to use MPC as MIDI controller with Arturia Moog Modular but it doesn't do enything as well.

Can someone smarter than me help me with this problem?

I'm not a MIDI kind of guy but learned at school. Sounds like the problem is that the MPC should be master and FL the slave, because you want to use the MPC to trigger sounds from FL, therefore the MPC has to tell FL what to do. For this instance, you don't need SOFT THRU on. MIDI OUT from the MPC to MIDI IN the FL.

Here you go, should go like this

Mode - Midi
MPC - Master
Pads to Sampler - Off
Track button
Params button
Scroll to where it says Track Type (or something)
Then change it from Drum to Midi
And it should start sending Midi messages

and in fl9, options -> midi -> input section, choose the midi interface, click the box that says "enable" and in the drop down menu next to that... choose generic controller.

now, the best thing to do is change the midi cc note numbers inside the mpc to the ones on the fpc...

the only difference is the 500 has 12 pads... and mpds dont have a sequencer. If you already have an mpc, why spend more money....

and the final reason that response is ridiculous is because you would have to go through the exact same steps to get the mpd connected and set up with fl9 as you would with an mpc.

I found the problem.
The cable that I bought has wrong signatures on MIDI ends.
OUT is described as IN and IN is described as OUT, so I had it plugged wrong ...
