To get the digital in to work, make sure inputs 3+4 are set as your active inputs in your preferences. Then, sometimes, you need to reseat your digital cable to get the meter to actually monitor the digital in.

Resample never shows up on the meter. I don't know if this was by design or not...

Effects automation was missing from 1.0, and is still missing in 1.1.

are all the shortcut keys (cmd + A for select all... cmd + V for paste) disabled in plugin mode?
Anyone else notice this?

You must be zoomed in for this to occur. This is not really a big deal...I find it purely cosmetic instead of a functional issue. Reported it.

That's by design. The meters are for external audio. The master level meter in the lower right corner will represent audio you are resampling.

HP shelving filter
LP shelving filter
Reverb large 2

workaround:Write down all vaules,select a different effect and put the original effect back on inputting all your original vaules.

Soundsforsamplers told me about the new on/off button for effects which resolved my problem.Its in the track mixer,you'll see it in the insert boxes.I had no clue since no one mentioned it nor did i see it in the release notes.

This makes sense to me. DAWs also use key commands. Using key commands to control two apps could be chaotic.

When I chop a sample to a program, then go to program edit, select ALL for zones, and then select a filter -- the pads stop playing correctly. The only way to get around this is to rechop the sample again into a new program, because the old program (once you try to assign a filter to ALL) is bugged. Anyone experience this?

2. Create sequence with ^ program
3. Prog Edit
4. Edit Zones -> select ALL
5. Select a filter (ie, high 8 ), adjust cutoff
6. Samples are no longer playing correctly.

I just followed your steps exactly and can't produce it using 1.1 on Mac OSX 10.7.5. I recorded a video to show I can't produce this issue.

Do you have any additional info on how to produce this problem?

This is not a bug and is working as designed; clearly explained in the manual. Please read the manual to understand how this function is designed to work.

Not seeing either of these two...

1. Assigned a 'highhar' sample to Pad A01
2. Recored note repeated high hats 1/32(3) for 2 bars
3. Entered Program Mix; press F3[Mute]
4. Press Play Start
5. Quickly tap Q1 to mute Pad A01
6. Entered Track Mix; press F3[Mute]
7. Quickly tap Q1 to mute Track 1

Results - Pad A01 and Track 1 mutes immediately. I don't experience any latency.

Effects record automation is not supported in 1.0 or 1.1. You can record automation for program params.

Recording via digital inputs and resampling is currently working.

Not all plugins will communicate with DAWs to display their presets. The Ren will displays the presents of those that do. Presets of Steinberg plugins will be displayed and selected from the Ren's hardware. Maschine behaves the same way. NI added code to their plugins and Maschine to integrate them better. But not all 3rd party plugin presets can be selected via Maschine's controller.

I just spent a while making this beat, it has about 4 or 5 vests in the project, 80 something bars long. When ever I export the volumes are mixed different and the pitches of my instruments have changed. I tried a couple times, no luck, mpc ren is warping my beat around whenever I mixdown the audio masters 1,2

Also, my automation only works when it feels like it, sometimes works, sometimes doesnt, I dont know why

I tried to reproduce every issue you have been posting....most of the times with no luck.

There is free screen capture software that you can record the issues you are experiencing. I suggest you do that so others can troubleshoot your issues or fix if it is an actual bug.

I was just laying down a bassline from sampletank and now my notes are like 2 octaves higher all of a sudden and cant get it back to normal
