Hello there everyone, a few days ago I downloaded JJ OS 1

This is the site where I got it from: http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/

And I picked this version: OS1 4.99L mpc1000_jv499l.bin 896KB Download Mar 29, 2010

But when I go to the Save mode, i'll have to enter a password? Does it mean that this isn't a free version? And if it's free, where am I able to get this password...

looks like you put more time into coming up with an appropriate forum name than you put into looking at that site... it clearly says which is the free version.

if it's asking you for a password you obviously downloaded the wrong version. try downloading the first link... you know... the one that says FREE in capital letters.

I have to agree with you, that was pretty obvious. But someone who's name is "majobnoob" can do things like that. Anyways, thankyou for quick responding!

That is a great reply for a noob on this forum. Welcome and you'll fit right in.

Free JJOS, everything works except save. You have to buy it, receive the password and then you can save. The only difference in the free/paid versions is SAVE.

I don't have JJOS but that's been stated over and over in these forums since forever.

lamp, don't forget that there is an actual free version as well... which has less features than the paid versions, but is still much better than the default AKAI OS and it actually can save as well.

whereas if you download any of the paid versions... then you can do everything except save [until you purchase your password]... essentially, giving you a chance to try out the paid version for free.
