I can't believe anything you say until you either give specific details (as Tutor wrote above...please re-read) or post a video showing your bug. If you can write numerous posts indicating you have bugs or post beats on line, certainly you can upload a video of the bug you are having....or send the video directly to tech support.

Either way...without this information, any problem you have may possibly not be fixed. The question is, do you want your issue fixed or not?

I'm not sure what is going on, but I created a track last night, saved it, closed it and opened it up in my DAW FL Studio and it works. I didn't save it or anything while I was in FL Studio. I just tried to reopen it in the MPC Software and all my sounds are playing except my drums. Even when I try to trigger a drum pad, change the sounds out, add a new sound or even create a new drum program it still doesn't do anything.

If I open the same file in FL Studio in the plugin everything works as normal. So I try to reopen it in the MPC software again and still the same results. So I open it again in FL Studio and save as for a new file and try to open that one in the MPC software and it still doesn't play my drums.

I also noticed that I have these MPC Project Files and folders that were created an don't have any idea where they came from. These are the names of the files and folders.

I can open any of my older files I created or create a new one. So I'm not sure if it's a bug. I didn't think creating a new thread was necessary.

Has anyone found that the software crashes when selecting all the notes on a track and dragging them so that each note is the same length?

Send the project file to Akai tech support or you can email it to me for further investigation.

I tried this, and it was all good. Definitely need a video.

What plugin is on the track? Can you put the project file and crash log in a zipped/compressed file and send it to me?

I've had most problems that people are describing happen to me while using the ren multiple times. The most annoying one is that I can't Load previous projects from the documents file or even the actual mpc project icon this should launch as soon as I double click with all project info in tact just like it would on a pro tools session icon or reason icon and so on! This makes making good beats on it pointless. It only loads correctly when You select them From the load recent At the top tool bar but as we all now this feature only saves the last 5 or 6. I've been tracking after making beats but still I feel when I'm tracking them the beat isn't really complete. I'm just scared to loose the skeleton if its off to a good start! I also had the end point markers go crazy on me and it seemed as if they had a mind of their own! I have a few more gripes but if we can fix the ones that prevent us from wanting to use this machine, we would atleast see lots of potential in this otherwise genius product! I want my MPC... I had to bring back my 2000xl she still sits right next to the ren intimidating it!

I can not finish my beat, tried to load a sound to a pad while beat playing it will start looping when it crashes, will say MPC Program has stopped!

Oh yeah I can't load old beats I made after I updated to OS 1.1!

Is there a list available of bugs that were confirmed and sent to Akai to be addressed? How about outstanding issues needing to be confirmed as bugs? Searching thru all of these threads isn't efficient or practical for end users.

Yesterday I was making a beat and had chopped a break and laid down a pattern, then I noticed some of my pad colors were stuck on yellow and the pad lights not responding to what was sequenced, so I just uh oh and saved my project, even did a save as and made a copy, messed around with the beat, then like 5 minutes later it crashed and now even though I saved the project and made a copy and save that, both projects load blank?

stuff like this is frustrating, there is a real issue here about saving/loading and I dont want to lose all my work after spending time on it, and I dont want the software to crash if I'm using it live, and all I was doing was chopping and sequencing a small file in an almost blank project. Stability is still not good.

Have had a SERIOUS crash twice now, as in Ren stops communicating with hardware and my entire computer freezes. Meaning, I can't even force quit, everything is frozen. I must manually restart. Last time it happened when the MPC software was just idle, not even playing.

My specs are in my signature.

Why the hell is it crashing so much? Akai really need to get on this as quickly as possible.

Pad lights not responding properly when hitting pads. Worked perfect in 1.0.
