My issue is, when I'm recording my hi hats and I want to change the note repeat rate, I find it difficult to switch between the different options etc 1/8, 1/16, 1/8-3..with the white tabs, is there a way I can program: lets say four pads with the same hi hat, but each pad plays a different note repeat rate?

this function is possible in jjos 128XL
perhaps it could be done using patterns in os2xl, also, but not as handily.

answer is after track, sorry could not resist

Look at first it was so obvious I thought that maybe I would not say anything as it seems so obvious BUT you do need JJOSXL for this feature that allows you to do this change of note repeat.

one word peeps .... ARP

come on, why does not any one think of this??
like you can change the rate with qlink slider!!! as you play with out having to hold note repeat, and you can set it to one pad or multiple pads in realtime. Why o why is no one saying this. Shame other JJOSXL users do not know this hmmmm  :hmmm:  like hello guys.

Jjos2xl lets you lock the note repeat so you don't have to hold it. Press [SHIFT] + [NOTE REPEAT].
