Quick fix i did

my mpc was freezing every five minutes, sounds were clipping out and i would have to shut down and reload. almost impossible to use. last night i popped the back out and popped my ram out and back in and it's good to go. anyone having problems try this.

a bad ram , it's possible , check other thread to find a one who works

The RAM may have been incorrectly seated, probably not quite pushed in far enough. If your problems return though, take it out completely and if there's no more problems, grab yourself a new memory stick.
