wondering if there is a short cut that can take the cursor from anywhere in the home screen to the field "Pgm : program name"

my question is because once i create a program and get back to the main screen, by default all pads are assigned to a "no program" status and then i must navigate the cursor to the "Pgm:" field to put in the correct program name, which can be tedious if it must be done for each pad.
thanks

On mine, I set the program for the track, not per pad.

ok, but the way I work is 1 pad (voice) per track. so one pad =one track=one pad. easier to edit latter.

so i rephrase my question : is there a short cut to get the cursor directly to the field where i can assign a program to a track (instead of navigating by using the buttons <, >, v) ?

maybe,

In the main page, the cursor next to the pad number and scroll the sample .

or the instrument programs , in the drum programs ,press shift in the Prg Mode , with "all" , "chromatic"...

You can make "template" empty programs and save them in your Auto LOad Folder with envelloppes . then you load individually your samples directly to the Prg pad you want.

just hit mode + pad 7 to go to GPE and by default it is set to top of screen over the program number, so turning jog wheel will change program and also this can be done with Qlink window as well -

what Bliprock said.. + also when you're in the GPE use the hold 'mode' plus turn jog wheel to cycle through your tracks.. should make your life much easier if you only use 1 pad per track
