I can get two (black) MPC 1000's, both in excellent condition, for the same price. One has the new pads and the original OS and the other one has the old pads (he told me they still work fine) and JJOS 2XL.

My question is, which one should i get?

EDIT: They both have upgraded hard disks and RAM

the old pads REALLY suck and you WILL have to replace them eventually.

you might be fine with jj free though (though dont get me wrong, jjxl is revolutionary).

get the one with new pads.

for real, the black one with the jjos2xl would be the one i would get, most of the black ones dont have pad problems, if they are just new pads from mpcstuff, they can be had for like 30-50 dollars.

if you need new pad sensors, which you probably wont with the black models, then it will cost 180 dollars.

i would get the 2xl, its huge, then you dont have to fuq around with loading it yourself either, you can just start making dope beats with the best operating system ever on an mpc.

BK-N is the one you want if it is this model number it is the most current and the pads are good. And yes you will need JJOSXL
