[BUG] Main Screen grid edit cut/paste bug

On the main screen grid edit in record mode.
If you copy a bar, then you erase a bar then paste board is deleted as well. This only happens if cursor is at top of the bar. ie Bar select at the top of the grid. When it the same function is performed on the grid its self, the bug does not happen.
You have to cut, then delete then paste does not work. If you do not delete the paste function works fine, but as soon as you delete it forgets the copy and does not paste.

hmmm sounds like an issue that we had not too long ago, but in grid mode... did u report?

couldn't reproduce this... tried in main and in grid mode.

You mean like this?

and then press copy, paste, erase and finally paste?

damn right my man. thats it right there.

I didnt paste then delete, but I know, you know what I mean, so yeah its only when the top bar is selected in main screen. And so when one or more bars are copied then you delete a bar or more then paste, (as you do) there is no paste
this has to be the most work ever done for a confirmation of a bug huh?? maybe not I wasnt round years ago/ least it aint the Ren, just quietly, or 5000. :smoker:

Copied 1 & multiple bars and deleted and pasted and still all worked on DRUM and MIDI tracks.

One thing tho, if you paste 2 times over the same bar, identical notes get duplicated. So that might be worth a bug report....

cool, did you delete using the top bar as well? I might as well report it, so it is known at least.
It has always been like that since I have been using it, and its cos you pasted twice, TC usually tidies it up or use merge/replace copy instead. THats how I think about it anyways, as it is usually that way JJOSXL wise. So to me I do not think of it as a bug more user error and some times i want that phasey double hit to.
So even though I experience it in my work I never think of it as a bug really, just me **** it up. :lol:
