clear button not working properly

when i load new sequences or beats and press the clear button it doesn't clear the previous seqs and pgms it just adds on to the next unused seq an the pgm has a ? in the front of it ( ?Program01 ) it only works on a few of my beats but not all I'm using jj os 3.15 anybody know whats going on?

in the CLEAR screen... what is the replace files in memory option set to?

the problem probably isn't with the CLEAR function... it sounds like you aren't loading the entire folder...

im not sure what you mean by in the CLEAR screen (im brand new to the mpc) but this is what i do i press mode, hit pad 2, select hard disk, move to the right where my folders are, highlight the folder where my beat is, press do it, then the load folder screen pops up an says load all progams and samples and ALL (SEQS&SONGS) files
replace same files in memory:no (or yes) and at the bottom it has clear cancel and do it. i press clear (with the replace same files in memory on no) and the caution screen pops up pressing do it will clear entire memory. i press do it and everything loads up. i then hit the main button and the seq i loaded is on the next unused seq and the previous seqs are still there but not functional. if i load um up with replace same files in memory on yes it does the same thing but i can play every seq new an previous.

but theres like 2 beats i made that when i load them up and press clear it clears everything an everything works perfectly
