Im making a sample cd for a friend who is getting a 2K on Friday and I have a couple of questions.

1. Was there ever a OS update that allowed the 2ooo to read file sets on CD ROM or Zip.

2. Does the 2000 even read wav files on a PC burned cd-rom.

3. Does the 2K read a whole 100MB zip disc, or does it have to be partitioned.

Answer to question 3: No, you don't need to partition a zip disk but it can make things easier to find on it if you do.

what up yo

I have a 2000 and as far as i know, you cant read file sets, just individual files (no folders)

Im assuming it will read the wavs, cause i have a sample cd thats all wavs, and it reads it from my external cd rom drive.

you dont need partitions, but ive found that 2 partitions is best for me. I feel like i can save more info like that, but maybe im buggin. you dont NEED the partitions though, but why not use em? You might lose a whole partition, but the rest will still be there (happened to me).
