buying jjos

I'm a current user of the renaissance and former user of the 2500. I'm getting a new 2500 since mine was stolen two yrs ago. Last JJOS I had was os2, I'm gonna get jjos on my new one. I'm curious about which ones I need to buy. Is there one I can buy that gives me a password for all of them?? I want whatever jj has available, I'm just not clear on what I need to pay for. I've read the online manual and the FAQ thread here and can't seem to find a clear answer. There seems to be 3 or 4 different versions now and I'm confused, I'm clear on the different features and what each os brings to the table. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit - I think I understand now, If I get os-xl os1&os2 are included, correct??

Yeah the translation is tough to follow on the site. It's really just this: buy JJOS2XL, and you can use OS1 and OS2 using the same password and switch between them all. But that really only applies to current 1000 OS's. For the 2500 it's only JJ Free and XL, and the recent OS128XL for MPCStuff's larger LCD currently being sold.

Just get XL and be back in it.

One last question, even though os1 and os2 are available for download are they no longer functional?? sorry for all the questions after maschine, then renaissance I 'm amped up about gettin the 2500 back

Yeah, sorry my bad dude. I forgot the hot link to the 2500 OS1 and OS2 is right under the XL one.

I have a 1000 and 2500 with separate JJ XL purchases. It's definitely the same on both if you want the other OS's too. XL price gets all of them.

got a mpc2500 with the latest jjosxl and have bought a new (used) 1000 already. when i purchase again the osxl for the 1000, can i switch and change my songs from one unit to the other one w/o any problems?
