If its so obvious, why do you feel the need to disrupt the forum by pointing it out? Can't people make up their own minds? Is your opinion so important that you feel it's worth picking on a newbie who many people will simply see as being excited and positive about his recent purchase?
When it comes to judging who is a spammer, only I decide, it's my site and I have access to information you don't have. Leave it to me to deal with it.
I wonder why there are so many '1 post wonders'? Maybe it's because they post once and are made to feel to unwanted they disappear for good.
Trust me, the Ren forum doesn't need some vigilante group patrolling it trying to bring down the positive vibe many of the Ren users have.
That fact is, there's people there who are happy with the Ren and want to post about it. There's also people who aren't happy, and their posts stay as well.
Then theres the people who don't have a Ren, don't intend on getting one, and just want to be negative for negativity's sake, like it's some kind of badge of honour.
the rest of us are just like ants that see some candy left out... we can't help it... it's only natural we devour it. you can't blame the ants... just don't leave candy laying around if you don't want any ants.
By 'rest of us' you mean you and a few others compared to the other 45,000 members? You don't speak for everyone. Being vocal does not make your opinion the opinion of the entire board. It's an opinion shared by a few people, who ironically are often acting far worse than the people they are trying to force out of the forum. If you want to sound off, there's the off topic forum. I don't have a problem with you mouthing off there. But I don't want to see any of the other sub forums filled with newbie bashing, hating, pointless negativity or trolling. It has never been like that, and it shouldn't be now.
But if some people can't help their addiction, I can just remove their access to the Ren forum. That sounds like a decent way to deal with it. Thoughts?
