What would you cop (preamp/compressor)?

What a about a Vintech?? They seem to have good Mic pre for the right Prices?!

Hmm, seems cool, but their class A pre is over $2300, and that's without a compressor. I could get a nice channel and a TLA for close to that. But, I been hearing about the Vintechs lately, so now I'm curious. Do you use one? Good looks on the link...

If you got the cash go get an avalon 747 & 737 by far the best sounding analog pre-amp and compressor/gate/limiter on the market...plus with most everything being done in digital adding a bit of analog can do wonders for your sound

I like that Avalon SP, used it alot, but it's not my favorite.
