MPC wont record properly

Hi everyone,

basically i have a problem when recording sequences - my MPC only picks up some of the kick drum in when i record a beat, e.g if i record a bar with a couple of double kicks, it will only pick up some and it sounds very bare when the loop comes in. can anyone help me? would really appreciate it.

It might be because you have timing correct set to 1/8 in which case the first kick in your double kick will be nudged to the same position as the second kick, thus, only 1 kick is audible. Turn TC to either 16/1 or 32/1 or if you're feeling like a porn star...turn quantize off.

Is this the only problem or do other hits (snares and hats) disappear???
