Or get the Beat Making Tutorial here on this very site which is 60x easier to read than the manual which was done by a couple of drunks overnight.

Im sorry fellas i really dont want to be the kid that didnt read up, i forgot that it says its already programmed to a 2 bar sequence in the manual. to my knowledge, it seems that a lot of people that ask stupid questions like the one i (regrettably) just did are spoilt kids that want to make beats for asap rocky the day they pick up the mpc... i know i was until i sat down and read it.
