i cant get my zip drive to work!!!

hi every1 ive got a iomega 100 zip drive and an mpc2000xl, i cant seem to get the zip drive to work, every time i put a disk in it says scsi not ready, does anybody know what i could be doing wrong? thanx in advance

yeah on your load screen u got the select ur device which should be atapi...try that

is it internal or external. If it's external make sure the SCSI ID is set to 5 because the MPC already occupies 6. If it's internal your device should be ATAPI like beatarkitek said.
