I'm testing the result. Left my mpc on running last night. Still works! Also no more glitchy screen stuff.

So far so good! :-D

Hi, sorry for bringing this up again. I still had problems after last attempt. But now I finally got it fixed.

I was about to give up, and buy a new one, but opened it up one more time.

I unscrewed it completely and took out the hd casing that's installed to put a hd in. Maybe this was causing the shortcircuit.

So after trying, JJOS, HD, Cf cards, RAM, screws, different power cables, this is how I fixed it. For anyone who has a similar problem, try this. :-D

Thanks

Interesting. I'm glad you got it working though I am curious how that little poop of an adapter could cause you all those issues! Was there anything funny looking on the adapter? I am only curious because I have been thinking about buying and adapter but thinking twice now, lol.

I could find anything strange looking. Only that everything does work properly now.

The previous owner told me that HD's are making a little noise. More atleast then a CF card. I've got a 16gig CF card in the CF slot. And 16 is plenty. If this gets full I'll buy other one.

Good luck.
