plug in that shows how much low/mid/high, in a song?

anybody knows of some sort of plugin or something where it may have some sort of threshold or line drawn and when you play a song, it'll show whether the lo's/mids/high go above that line,,, to let you know you have to much?

obviously you can use your ears, but after awhile i cant really tell, plus im using headphones cause of my living arrangements and i cant get a decent listen.

it would be nice to see a visual interpretation of exactly how much low end, lo-mid, mids, highs, etc...the song your working has, and you can adjust accordingly.

Sounds like you need a spectrum analyser.

look up limiters with built in spectrum analyzer .. it might hit two birds with one vst.
