Buy new mpc 5000??

Anyone know anywhere to buy a new mpc 5000? Or stores now selling refurbished stock or blemished? Google shows a few vendors,claiming they have new ones. Going to call them to ask, but wondering if anyone knows a vendor selling brand new ones.

It's rare to find a 5000 in near perfect working condition on Ebay. If I was you, I would try to buy one refurbished from the Akai website. You would only be spending a few hundred dollars more than something you could get on Ebay. Plus, you know it will work perfectly. When I bought my 5000 on ebay, I found out that some of the buttons had to be pressed really hard in order to work, not to mention the fact that the pad scensors were worn.

All the ones coming up in the uk look totally new and untouched.Altho it dont matter if theres some problem inside.

Where are you located? I have one in minty fresh condition that I might part with.
