Hello Guys,

Just got myself a MPC not too long ago and loaded the 3.10 OS to try out before paying for the full version.

Any way, When I turn timing correct off the sequencer goes crazy in grid edit mode. Basically the cursor flys left to right at high speed and it's impossible to record like that.

Has anyone ever encountered anything like this? I took a video of it and will post it shortly!

Thanks for an insight!

Well, yeah. TC off means the grid has to display all 96 parts per beat which means that with each tick of the metronome the cursor has to cover 96 pixels of screen. When it reaches the end of the screen it scrolls to the next, so depending on your BPM this means the cursor will be flying wildly from one side to the other.

jeez! Ok, at least the MPC is working correctly because for a minute I thought something was wrong with it.

Would you know of any other way of recording with TC off that is a little more user-friendly because having the current position fly around the screen doesn't really help recording too much.

Does JJOSXL do it the same way?

Thanks!
