installed 1.12 for xlcd and mpc is freezing on startup!!!

so, now i just updated to the latest os, and it freezes when it says mpc2500 (128mb installed). what do i do now? i can't even reinstall the old os! anybody have any ideas?

Make sure the OS filesize matches the one mentioned on JJ's site. Redownload and place it in the root of the cf. Hold [WINDOW] to start the MPC bootloader to reinstall.

Note: You might have to install the free os first and XL afterwards (via load menu).

son of a b****. the file WAS smaller than the one on the site. just redowloaded. thank you very much for the insight. going to give that a shot.
