Hi im sure this is a bug, maybe somebody can confirm this, when i complete my sequences i go to song mode, then organize my sequences in song mode then i want to covert all the sequences to one sequence convert to new sequence, everytime i hit convert it crashes...

1.When I convert to a new sequence my effects show on the inserts in the new sequence but no effects are coming through. They are still there visibly.

2. ProTools 10 is crashing almost every time I try to load the mpc software as an RTA on an instrument track.

Its converting fine now, im not sure what might have caused it...

Well, it's not converting fine on my system. It doesn't crash, but it mixes up the events on the single tracks, so it's totally useless for me. Mac OS X 10.6.8 here.


Oh, and if I export a sequence with seperate tracks, my volume mix doesn't export, so all tracks have the default volume. A complete mess...


Aaaand, the muted parts don't get muted. They stay active.

Just noticed another bug. In song mode, when i arrange a song from the hardware, the sequences don't show up in the big graphical field (in the software). But they are in the list.

Once again, Mac OS X 10.6.8. No effect plugins used. (I'm sure you all know why )

This happens to me as well and I searched around and it seems its an ongoing problem that has not been addressed. VSTs work but the sustain is stuck when playing AU instruments via midi keyboard. I have tried Massive, FM8 and Absynth. Anyone have a solution or a way to get around this?

Taken down, retarded? Use your bookmarks and link directly to your favourite threads, saves having to search for them later. We can't sticky everything so bookmarks are a good option to have.

The undo function is undoing multiple levels of functions. I chopped a sample, sequenced it, nudged some of the notes around, transposed some of the notes, etc, basically did 50-60 different functions after chopping. I pressed UNDO to undo one note transpose I didn't like and it undid shit I did to sounds in a completely different program before I even chopped the sample. So basically, pressing UNDO undid over 60 functions. And it wouldn't let me redo some stuff. So I had to redo a lot of what I did. This happened on a PC. W7 x64 3.4GHz Q6600 16GB Ram!

There needs to be a description of what is next in the Undo queue in the edit menu as well.

Last night the same exact thing happened to me. Except I'm back on 1.1

Imac 27inch i5 quad core

All of my FXpansion Synth Squad synths, Strobe, Cypher, Amber, and Fusor
get stuck notes whenever played from an external MIDI keyboard.

This happens with the AU versions but not the VSTi versions.

I prefer to just have AU versions of plugins loaded instead of doubles of everything so this is definitely a problem.

When I load a plugin like THE 809 record a pattern I can not change the track volume from the hardware. Also if I have the THE 809 pads on the computer screen and change the program sounds from the hardware the new selected program name and sound name is not shown on the computer screen.

Copy/paste bug
Win7 x64

In the software, select some notes and press ctrl+c to copy them. Press ctrl+v to paste them. If you want to paste the same thing a second time and press ctrl+v again it doesn't work. But you can do Edit menu, paste, and it works.

Copy and paste in the software needs a whole new reworking. For example, if I want to copy notes from one pad, I should be able to select my desired notes, press/click the pad where I want the notes to go and press paste. Currently, when you do this the notes just paste right on top of themselves. The only way to copy in the software, that I've found is to highlight notes, hold control and drag. But when you do this, the notes don't move to the same place in time. They slide/shift around and you have to nudge them back to where you want them. Not a big deal for quantized notes, but when your notes are on the grid, it's a PITA!
