How to unregister the Ren to Sell it?

How do you go about unregistering the Ren so you can sell it?

The license states you are allowed a single license transfer, so I assume you'll have to ring/email akai to let them know you are selling your Ren and give them the new owner details. I don't think they have anything online to handle this (yet).

I don't know exactly what the implications are if you didn't say anything to Akai - if you didn't tell them you were transferring, they wouldn't know as long as there were authorizations left, as when the new buyer plugged in first time, Akai would still assume it's you on a different computer. I'm not entirely sure what the benefit is for being 'registered', don't know if they ask for this when you ring for support, but no doubt they'll use your info for upgrade offers in the future etc.

this got me thinking how cool would it be if you could run the ren from a cloud
imagine having access to infinite sound librarys or plugins, trading projects, you just plug the ren in any where in the world and sign in.

just crazy thought that jumped into my head

Akai will probably implement it (beta only, and using USB 1.1), in 25 years or so, when everyone else moved onto music production via thought control

the latency would be like 300 lightyearzz or so...

install REAPER to dropbox. load your midi controller device drivers into your dropbox folder. access reaper from any computer w/ internet connection.
