greets

I get a weird flange and detune/uptune effect with one program.

The program consists of different drum samples. Cymbals, kicks, snares , etc...

I go into GRID mode, change the track type to MIDI, then press Overdub (for step entry). If I enable the note length function Q-1 button and then start hitting pads I get a weird flange type effect on the samples and if I slide the Q-1 slider up and down it detunes/uptunes the samples. When I play back the sequence the samples playback normally.

This does not happen if I turn the note length function off and enter notes according to the T.C. setting.

It also does not happen in real time overdubbing.

I've tried the same samples in a different program, everything is ok.

I wonder what the cause of this weird "bug" might be?

Flanging effect usually denotes that the sample is actually plaing twice at the same time. So it might be that you have a note under that note. and the sequencer plays both notes. It happens sometimes
