HI,

JUST WANTED TO ASK HOW I CAN GET SOUNDS TO COME OUT OF MY MONITORS THAT ARE CONNECTED TO MY AUDIO INTERFACE (MBOX PRO)

MY MONITORS ARE CONNECTED TO MY INTEFACE ON OUTPUTS 1 AND 2

SO HOW CAN I CONNECT MY MPC 5000 TO MY INTERFACE AND HAVE SOUNDS COMING OUT OF THOSE SAME MONITORS ALONG WITH MY PRO TOOLS STUFF, OR ATLEAST HAVE SOUND COMING OUT WHEN I TRIGGER THE PADS.

ANY CABLES NEEDED?? IF SO WHICH ONES AND IF POSSIBE PROVIDE A PIC OR LINK TO SHOW WHAT THE ENDS OF THOSE CABLES LOOK LIKE.

THANK YOU ALL.

This is awful difficult to read. Please re-edit your request using the proper case for each word. Remember, capitalization is important for correctly interpreting the start of a sentence.

Please also take thorough pictures of each item in your setup, including both front and back panels of each component. Include cables if you have them. This will help us to more quickly provide the correct answer.

Cheers,

MSH

What interface are you using? What type of I/O does it have?

I use an RME 400 with my 5000. I have the adat out from the 5000 going to the adat in of my RME 400 interface. This allows me to hear digital audio directly from the 5000 thru the RME 400 which my monitors are connected to. Since the adat cable also transfers 8 channels of audio it makes it easy to track 8 digital outs into my DAW with the same connection.

If you don't have an ADAT connection just run the main analog outputs from the 5000 to any two inputs on the interface.

in either case you may have adjust the volume in the interface itself. but this should give you a good starting point.

Thanks for the help as i dont have adat connection. ide have to run the analog output of the 5000 into the MBOX PRO input. is that correct?

and since im from the UK the cables if ordered using the links provided would take forever to arrive from the US

so would these cables work instead

and finally the front and back of my audio interface can be seen by clicking the the link below and can be enlarged by clicking the x on the bottom right hand side
