Suggestion
When you are recording (or playing) a sequence and you press the F1[T.C.], the full Timing Correct window should open with all params available (note value, strength, shift timing, swing). This should allow you to quickly apply timing correct to events already recorded is realtime. The sequencer should not change from record to play mode during this process. Users should be able to undo/redo realtime timing correct changes. The JJOS can't accomplish. This would take this function to another level.

TC now only does anything during recording (or when specifying a new TC value), it just changes the recorded timing of the notes hit.
To do what you're saying, it would need to record stuff unquantized, then quantization
would be something done in playback.
So at every moment during playback, the sequencer would have to be looking both forward and behind where it currently is in the sequence, on every track, for notes that should fall on the quantizing step. Instead of just recording it to the closest step, and then playing back as normal.

I would think that would probably not happen, as it would require a total reconstruction of the TC code and probably also the way notes are stored in a sequence.

there you go. Now read that and then use it to do what you want to do as this is how it is done in realtime. It will do all that you want as per your post. Ya gotta hit window for your note length, but that can be set to AS PLAYED so that gives you real time control instead of a set length. Though I like using the set length to.

You should know that of course changing recorded notes as playing can not be done because of processing power more than anything. Not that a a decent drum programmer needs that like IMO.
