that's a stack dump.
what OS were you using, what were you doing, etc?
i haven't had a crash like that in a looong time. if you can reproduce it, you can report it and it will get fixed.

otherwise, it's good practice to set an alarm to save your work.

Running JJOS 4.99.

I remember being in PROGRAM mode hitting pads as the beat was playing. I think what I did was hit one pad and another simultaneously very quickly (as if to simulate hi-hats at 180bpm) and boom...GSOD.

I can try to re-produce it but doubt I'll succeed as this is the first time I have ever been royaly fked like this by the MPC. Worst part about it the beat was golden...probably my best yet.

I've had one of these a few days ago.
A few minutes before it happened I had some weird stuff happening in the MIDI to Button screen, the MPC was giving mea list of Notes from 0 to 255 :) But unfortunately they were nonassignable.

Or have another sequencer constantly recording the midi output of your MPC (all activity). Midi data takes up very little space so you can have the sequencer recording the whole time.

Or write a macro that will save everything (with a press of a button) into a root folder, preferably the first one.

It always is in these scenarios, but in a few months you'll be making shit way beyond it and you'll be glad it forced you to step it up! :smoker:
