Soooo, I waited for a while, picked up a compatible floppy drive on ebay. I cannot seem to get this thing to read.

Im getting a bit confused, ive triend every combitation of ribbons backwards and forwards. What am I missing?
Also, checked jumper positions.

Damn I was so hyped to tell you to check the jumpers! but on the real, did you buy it "as is" or "tested as working". I mean do you know for sure that it's working in the first place? Then we can go forward from there...,
