os128xlcd video request thread

i wanted to add a request to this before i forgot.

i read somewhere a few days ago that the longer samples in the xlcd ndc mode lag when trying to play them? if you do a video on chopping, could you touch on this too? or has it been fixed since then?
do the samples lag in destructive chop mode too?
is it really a big hinderance to workflow? does it render it un-usable with larger samples?
