Does anyone know what this is?

Can anyone tell me what this connector is It's just above the cd drive and has 2 wires on it but is connected to nothing at the moment.

Looks like a power cable for a Harddrive or something similar.

The hard drive is on the other side and has a different power cable. there is one going into the cd drive which you can see in the middle of the pic.
Does everyone else have this just floating about in their 5000's?

I believe that i saw this also in my 5k.....so yes...this could be a spare one.

I would only worry if some Harware part (like the CD drive f.i.) from your MPC is not working

Btw...found a picture in another topic from the inside of a 5k.
I circled it red...and as you can see...there is the loose power cable...

I do not have a cd drive but I am looking to source one soon, just have to find the right onw without paying the earth.
