Fixable 2500 problem?

many top producers like The Alchemist. This machine is working, but there is a problwm with it hence the low price. You need to turn the unit on approx 4 to 5 times to get it to sample and play back properly. I don't know why it does this, I bought it second hand a couple of years ago and it has always done this. It may be a chip that is damged, but what happens is that on the first few times you turn it on it comes on, but if you try recording or playing back then it makes a hissing noise and cuts out. Once it has been turned on and off a few times then it works fine and never cuts out or hisses while you are working on it. This could probably be fixed, I have never tried, I have always just turned it on and off a few times before starting work on music
