Recording

I've been using my MPC 1000 (with JJOS2XL) for a while now but now i want to record something. I mix everything in the MPC and i basically just want to play the song live in 1 run using track mute. What would be the easiest/best way to record this way?

well, i guess just setup a stereo track to arm and record the main out of your MPC. get a mixer/interface that has at least 2 inputs, plug your MPC into it, and play your stuff out live. when your done, hit stop inside the daw.

personally i usually record my stuff track-by-track, then arrange it inside Cubase and then if i want to play stuff live over the top, i can do that by just setting up a new track to record onto inside Cubase.
