I have the Mpc 1000, M-Audio key station 61, & the presonus audio box featuring studio one. I had successfully connected the M-Audio as a Midi controller via midi to the audio box when I 1st received it. I Had it sending & recieving midi data etc with no problem :smoker: but then I added the Mpc because I love what this thing can do.... but Im having a problem with the total midi configs now :?: where the M-Audio Key station (which only has midi outs) is the slave of the Mpc & the midi AB 12 of the Mpc to the midi going to & from the Audio box as I wanna be able to play the key station on top of whateva I got going in the Mpc .......

You are not clear if you mean midi or sound?
cos you know they are different right..
Anyways I think you mean that you want to get midi going through.
Make sure midi from keyboard goes in, then the sound module has midi out from MPC100 to its input. So this way it goes from controller through mpc to sound module. You have to make sure that the mpc is set up to send out the correct midi channle the that the sound module you are using is set to, so they are the same and can communicate with each other.

You have to get JJOS as well, cos it is better than the akai OS by a million. A few choices there.

There is a Free version up there. It's basically the same as the last Akai OS with bugfixes and Global Program Edit so you don't have to change 64 pad settings individually.

If you pay the $123 for JJOS2XL you can also use the other paid OS's OS1 and OS2. (XL is worth it and because it's tied to an individual machine you can add to resale value)
