Chill Hades, Just try and remember you are on a forum. And you didn't realize I have all the time in the day either. But that is OK.
I should not have to point out that information can be useful and people share it. Be it in a book, a vid or a rant. Of course if you diss shit you dont know anything about then you aint really endearing yourself so to speak and it makes it harder to share.
So yeah be offended, but you offended me first with that attitude, so to make you think about what you post, I wrote stuff. That happens in the world, and after a while you will be able to tell when people are really serious or not. I think you are too serious.
Monitor your out put of MPC through your USB AD/DA so you can record through it as well as hear the computer. Did that make sense?
Then a critical hit role, and if you fail that then you need to .....

I apologize for being a dick. I just get upset when a noob asks a question and all the pros jump their shit for not reading the manual and making them look stupid. My approach worked fine and I was recording in no time. I understand where your coming from that everyone should struggle and work hard to learn but isnt this site made to be a resource be it a simple question or a technical question?

sure your not plugging your RCA's into your digital ins and out?

Short of this, if the TT is usb, sample to PC - transfer to mpc

edit: read thread, looks like your sorted. as for asking dumb questions, i'm only a baby on this site but from what i can gather - a lot of dumb cunts come through and ask questions that can be answered with a quick flick in the manual - not to say your dumb, but it always pays to make sure somethings not covered already in the forum, i use the search function HEAPS, it is your friend.

I'm sorry you felt that way. I really tried to help you. I simply recommend you to read the manual you bought and also use the search function of this site. By doing so, you will learn way faster because in the process of looking for answers, you will find other valuable infos. Plus you will have fun reading and finding your own answers, not depending on others to put food in your hand.

Peace.
