Help! 1000 Keygroups?

I have recently started sampling my waldorf micro-q into c and g keys but now have gotten to the part where i am supposed to be able to map them across the pads and have my hardware synth "virtualized" and present on my mpc at all times. BUT! i cant just create a keygroup for the wav ala mpc4k.... whats a producer to do? I am currently mapping manually and adjusting all the tuning manually which is a pain in the ass!

Anyone know of a quick trick or program (software) to map synth samples into a usable keygroup?

Or maybe it would just be easier to map it into a software sampler?

no, there is no keygroups function. its really frustrating 'cause i was doing the same thing with my synths (sampling each note to make programs) ...

now, instead of sampling C/G and transposing them i just sample every note. it wastes memory, but if u have the 128ram upgrade, it is worth it.

doesnt it make more sense to just use your instruments seperate... what would happen if you sampled every other key, and just pitch adjusted every other pad... then you wouldn't be sacrificing the quality to much by pitching it up like crazy, and its half the amount to sample/save...

do you have the keyboard or the rack mount version? if it's the keyboard, why don't you have your beat play and record a midi track from your synth right into the 1000

Why wasnt this added in the new OS? It seems like a pretty crucial function! I'm getting really tired of using blueblox all the time. Any help here?

yeah i agree it would be a very simple feature to add... way simpler than some of the other things they did add.

for now my only advice is to make good use of saved 'template' programs that already have the midi notes and tuning offsets saved the way u need.

you can even cheat a little more and just make multiple versions of those where the samples refer to some generic name like 'multisample-1-1' etc. You could reuse those in different songs and just name different types of sample as 'multisample'.

soft sampler like Battery is a piece of piss to setup
