Mpc 2000xl with cf card

what type cf cards work with the mcd kit upgrade on a mpc 2000xl? I know it will only work with 2gs below but im curious to if theres anything cheaper than a sandisk or any other brands.

I suggest going with sandisk 1gb cards.. or if you can score a bunch of really small ones on ebay like 128mb, 512mb, and things like that you should be good.

I had a kingston one that worked in the mpc but not in the computer (when inserted it had no effect) ... but many other members who tried that brand did not get them to work. Sandisk seems to be the only brand that everyone seems to get working... the rest are more likely to be hit or miss.

It all comes down to how much trial and error you are willing to go through to get a card that works.
