(request) q link os128xl

The q Link slider can manipulate things for specific pads. I wish they also added back "track" so you can manipulate every pad that is getting played on the track, instead of just one.

What?!?!?! They took that function away for os128xl?? That sux, guess i'll be waiting a tad longer til I get it

Got a response from JJ on this one.. Apparently it can't be done in 128xl.. THat being said I really want it too..

yeh now when i want to mess with the filter on my chops i have to make it one whole wav bounced from the main outs assign it to one of the pads. and assign the q link to it..but thas too much work lol

That also locks you into a tempo.. pretty lame

damn just checked the manual & that's true... What if you record CC#74 to a track (Filter cutoff) does that apply to whole track? Make sure to set filter for the program (eg. LPF).

Nope os128xl doesn't accept external MIDI cc in for filter or resonance .. check the comparison page..... that would be a reasonable compromise... if it's not a current feature request, it's worth dropping one for that.

So I added the request in the forum for the MIDI cc to filter and resonance...... still think q-link to track would be best.. looks like I may be using os128xl for studio, recording and os-xl for live...
