So I have the steinberg CI1 as my audio interface:
and I want to record multiple tracks in ableton (more than 2)
I'm also using this as my mixer:
I'm using an MPC 2500, and I have 1/4" cords for all 8 of my assignable outputs and I plugged them into all 8 of the LINE inputs of my mixer. The mixer is then connected to my audio interface
However, in ableton I only see 2 inputs to record. Is this because of my audio interface? Do I need to buy another one? Or is there a way to make this work?
