it is tempting to sample whole track, but even with 32meg it might not be the best way - although there is NO wrong way obviously.

During a session I try to keep recording levels the same, and just take separate samples from same track as and when i need them. that way also you get to vibe with your main loop before sampling the whole track.

even with a handful of big stereo loops i often have no issues with fitting all onto one partition, and thats even without making my edit points permanent. I tend to take samples that are about 12 second in length though, not 2.5 min.

3.5os can format partitions that are 33meg, not sure it its a REAL 33meg, but sounds slightly larger.
