not recording when multitimbral

Hi,

i got a machindrum and would like to slave the MPC to it.
everything works fine, but the MPC doesnt record the notes when i play them
on a keyboard that is connected to the MPC 2nd Input.
The Midi Monitor shows me the correct notes, but it doesnt record.

I have multitimbral enabled because the machinedrum does sequence some other gear that is routed thought the MPC's softthru.

I did remove the Machinedrum and only connected the virus, even then the MPC does not record, only when multitimbral is set to off .

The first thing I notice is that your bottom image is on track 1 but your monitor shows channel 12 input. You sure the notes aren't getting recorded on track 12?

Yup. Multitimbral works on tracks 1-16 and are channels 1-16 respectively.

ah guys, you made me happy today.

Im working for 4 years with the MPC, never learned that part.
I only had a blofeld and did all my drum and synth stuff inside the MPC,
now with 2 synth and a second drummer things got more complex.
