Thanks for votes! Now, I got a fun popular track to flip.

I don't know if it has been flipped many times or not, but i have always been thinking about this sample. I know a heater can be made from this one.

Can I use the same track, but from the original vinyl?...rather than the mp3 provided?
Or is that cheating?

Also, is a keygroup MPC program made from samples from this track considered "outside keyboard"?

thx

Yea u can use any medium. Keygroups and chromatic tuning is ok. Just no added synths. The sample should be the main focus.

Im gonna get down with this, im gonna use the sample only, but why the hell does everyone keep specifying no synths and discouraging use of their own sounds?I just dont understand it? i get that people wanna hear peoples talents with samples, but giving people the ability to to blend other sounds with the sample makes for far more creative songs. Anyway im not dissing anybody(the guy who chose the rules) but im sure its happened for the last several battles. Anyway i hate moaners so i shall try to win this battle to change the rules back :).

hey, i'm new here.
i'm not sure how everything works on this forum, but can we link to our songs on here if we're done and its uploaded? i added to the group, but it says something about how no tracks go live until voting day...does that mean we listen to all of them at once?

just wondering, :hmmm:

Congrats to DJ Erratic on a job well done.

I really am not even in the same ballpark much less the same league as you guys but figured since I had a day off and this was my first 45 (yes on vinyl) ever owned, I'd give it a shot. Feel free to scorn, laugh and ridicule, I know my place.

One thing; I submitted it, but I can't figure out if it actually shared or not, so if you didn't get it let me know.

This was a great sample but very challenging. Can't wait to hear everyone else's.
