so read a lot, and now I want to install the JJ OS... got the free version right now and I saved a few sequences with tracks samples everything.
So actually the quetion is, if I install the JJ OS Xl is there any problem with loadin the project with all samples and so on from my cf Card?
I don't wanna have some unexpected surprises :)

you can download and install it for free to see for yourself.

if you dont like it you can just revert back to the old os.

I came across the incompatibility issues yesterday after I bought the OS. I didn't bother loading up any of my own serquences while I was 'trialing' OSXL, so I was kind of surprised when I heard the issues. Alas, I booted back into OS1 and everything was fine. Since I have so few sequences from OS1 to begin with, I decided not to fix them, just stuck them in a folder that if I ever need to work on again--I'll just go back to OS1.

So I recommend just hit the floor running with OSXL

jj os xl is runnin, erverything seems quiet normal. But 2 of my recorded samples are fuked up... damn :fku:

one of them are played in a wrong arrangement... the other one is gone :hmmm:
even when I switch back to the free OS it's gone.

The sequence issues are down to the way that JJOSXL rejigs things to account for the new chromatic pad layout.

TBH if there was one thing I'd get JJ to do is to incorporate some kind of import tool that remedies the sequence issues - including an export tool for people who want to use their beats in the free OS/Akai OS etc.
