What are some of your must-have sample packs, that sound great and consistently inspire you?

I have some wacky arpeggiated synth samples with all kinds of chords - sevenths, sharp 4s, crazy stuff.

Just wondering what makes other people stoked!

For commercial stuff the UVI/Ultimate Soundbank stuff is fantastic.

There's the free UVI Workstation VST/AU that acts as a front end for their libraries. You can drag and drop the hits and loops to your desktop to use in MPC's. (Although they may need conversion as they might drag out at 24 bit)

I use the infinity kit drums sold by tutor on this site. Other than that, I don't really use sample loops anymore. I mostly get by with Geist and a bunch of soft synths.

Did you get any of the expansion sets for Geist? I got them all in a sale they had (and one free for a survey I took FXpansion are cool folks) I thought they were pretty nice all around.

Yeah same here, most of my samples are ones I make myself off VST's.

I have kits from various places I've saved from all over the place for years. No actual "pack". Although the infinity kits has been getting some serious play in the 4k for some days now. Secret is layering and your golden after that.
