Hi fellas,

again and again i stumble over the following Problem:
I make a Recording and would like to extract a sample or a groove or a Bar,
and get the following Message: ( MPC1k, 128MB, JJOS2XL)
"insufficient Memory"

now, in this moment i have over 3Min free of recording time,
but can“t extract even a single hit.

my questions:
has anybody numbers. at which samplelenght or remaining recording time is the threshold that this problem occours ?
is there any trick, do i miss something ?

no I have not had this problem. Maybe you have reached the sample limit, ie 1000s of samples?? There is a limit to how many samples, so even if you had memory, you have reached that limit instead maybe.
Which JJOSXL are you using, have you been updating it?

To extract sample you have to keep in mind that MPC makes a copy of original file (in RAM) and than it cuts this copy to your extract portion. So.. you need to have free RAM space for 2 x original sample + extract portion. Same thing with sliceing/ chopping. You just run out of available RAM for this operation.
