two prongs socket !!!!

My mpc 60 has only a stock two prongs cable ( old roland type ) .i know it's the standard european way but I wonder if that is safe to let it this way or maybe i could fit a three prongs one ( i did that for other stuffs before ).

I'd keep it stock unless you are having problems, it will probably cause problems to monkey around with the mains wiring.

that's what i thought but if anything goes wrong with only two wires ( no ground ) i 'd get 220 V shocked ( that wouldn' be the first time though ! )

Verify what the unit really is.
The MPC-60ii that I use to have was a 2-prong unit but that rating was actually the 100v Japanese rating.
It works at 120v but if you use it for long periods of time it will get warm.
All you need to do is get the transformer added or you could use an external unit.
I used an external unit that worked as either a step up or step down transformer (100 to 120 or 120 to 100).
I did this because my stuff stays on pretty much 24/7.
Also it was how I got the unit so cheap from Rogue Music.

thanks ntalec but i have no prob with voltage ( my 60 is definitly the right 220 volts that i must use right here , no question about that ) , just a ground connection that i'd like to have like other gear i have .Anyways thank you !
