What's the best way to clean your MPC Ren?

I've repaired a ton of music equipment (it was my job for a while).

There were times that keyboards would come in with Jaegermeister splattered everywhere and some that looked like they had been soaking in a porta john for a week, nasty, nasty, nasty!

Anyway my cleaner of choice on 99% of music equipment was Windex or glass cleaner sprayed onto a rag and wipe and scrub as necessary. It gets the gunk off but doesn't wipe any of the paint or anything else off.

So yeah that's my suggestion


p.s. If that doesn't work I use this stuff called goo gone and then wiped that off with windex (glass cleaner)

Your friend should wash his hands before touching your REN.

Last week a friend of mine was touching my RENs display and he asked me why I did not remove the plastic envelope and I thought why do you touch my lady

some of yall bit too nerdy bout this shit...I wipe down my equpiment from time to time with fiber cloth. do you unbox it and box it up after every use too, seriously

Same problem here.. did you found a way to remove the smudges? I tried it with a dry microfiber cloth, but it makes it even worse.

No I could not find anything that would get rid of the smudges, I don't remember the MPC 4000 being this hard to clean.
