That's basically the way I feel about him. Clearly he's got great technical ability, no denying that, but he doesn't really have any feel, no soul. His performances leave me cold, a live drummer shouldn't sound so regimented and quantized. I'd rather listen to someone only mildly technically proficient who is oozing with funk, groove and soul.

But crowds just love all that widdly widdlly battle shit. Sends me to sleep after the first 3 or 4 minutes.
