Yo,

Been thinking about an upgrade to my productions this year - the last few years i've been using the cheap ass software, Fruityloops, and for about a year now {13 months or something, from scratch} i've been using Reason 2.0 and I feel like i've pretty much explored all of what Reason has to offer. Check some of my 'ish at www.esskodebeatz.co.nz. Its mainly hip hop and a little dub.
Anyways - if you listen to what i'm producing now with Reason, what do you think the potential would be if I bought an MPC 2000xl? Would this be a step in the right direction for my producing?
I've been a musician for a while, and i feel i know my way around producing and what goes into it quite well - however, i've never laid my hands on an MPC before, are these fine peices of equipment exceptionally difficult to use, or is it all in good time sorta thing?
thanks!
ess.

hey man i love your tunes , really nice bit manuva style .
i dont think you need a mpc in fact i couldnt realize you are using reason , cus mainly reason sounds like reason , but if you stick to the computer for sample editing you could do that with a mpc too .
but your stuff is grooving anyway .
